About Linda Delorme
Drawing on an extensive background in business management and corporate legal affairs, Linda is the founder and President of Linda Delorme Consulting. She is an Executive M.B.A. graduate of Concordia University, a Faculty of Law graduate of Université de Sherbrooke and a B.A. - Political Sciences graduate from McGill University.
Prior to founding Linda Delorme Consulting, Linda was president of a technology company that created a ground-breaking Web site for delivery of employee benefits and benefit communications, where she was responsible for leading the company from start-up to launch.
Linda also held the position of Corporate Counsel for Avon Canada Inc., where she also served as Secretary of the Board of Directors of the corporation. Before joining Avon, Linda was in private practice with the law firm McMaster Meighen (now Borden Ladner Gervais), where she practiced in the area of corporate finance.
Actively involved in government affairs, Linda also held positions as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Direct Selling Association (DSA), Vice-Chair of the Government Affairs Committee of the same association and Chair of the Cosmetic Review Task Force of the Canadian Cosmetic Toiletry and Fragrance Association (CCTFA). In these capacities, she represented both the direct selling and cosmetics industries on a wide variety of regulatory issues.
Linda's diverse experience has given her valuable insight into how unfamiliarity with basic legal issues can have a negative impact on corporate performance and the bottom line. She has also played an integral role in business development activities for both large and small companies.
